Los Angeles jewelry maker Valerie Mitchell patterned CERFs 2009 Charm after a Western red cedar seed because she says CERF “plants a seed of hope in rebuilding and growth.” The 1.5" by .5" charm is made of oxidized sterling silver.
Valerie’s work has been shown in galleries and museums across the country, and she has won an American Crafts Council Award of Excellence. Sandra Enterline, CERFs 2008 charm-maker, selected Mitchell for her very unique touch with cast forms. The two have known each other since their student days at the Rhode Island School of Design.
This limited edition charm is now available, and proceeds go to benefit our work for craft artists.
